Nintendo Wants to Bring Adult Games to Switch
Success Switch did not want to waste Nintendo. Wanting to synchronize with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Nintendo is ambitious to bring more adult games to its game console. The adult game is a game that has a Mature rating. As is known, most Nintendo games are child friendly. Only a handful of games with mature ratings are present in the Nintendo console, it was last seen on Wii and Wii U.Well with the success of Swicth, Nintendo also want to bring more Mature games. So far that is sure to come is the game Wolfstein II: The Colossus and Doom, which Bethesda has announced as the maker in Nintendo Direct event some time ago.Doom is promised to be present at the end of 2017, while Wolfstein II: The Colossus will follow in 2018.
In addition to both game titles, the game titled Gal * Gun 2 is also promised slide for Switch in 2018.But Nintendo's decision to bring more Mature games is not without criticism. Atsushi Osanai, a professor at the Waseda Business School, said Nintendo was careful with his decision because it was known as a "safe" game console. In the sense that the games on the portable console is synonymous with child and family friendly. Nintendo's decision to bring the Mature game could just tarnish this image.
"Opening the way for adult consumers with wider game options is basically good for business, but Nintendo should do it carefully so as not to break the image among parents that Nintendo products are safe," Atsushi.
