Vote for Doki Doki
When the ranks of this year's Game Awards winners are dominated by just a few games like The Legend of Zelda: BOTW, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Cuphead. But whether the winners are indeed desired by gamers? In fact, when viewed through the voting of the most voted by gamers around the world, it turns out their choice is dominated by visual novel games - horror Doki-Doki Literature Club.

It happened in the event IGN Best of 2017 Awards yesterday, where in all categories IGN also includes People's Choice which frees the fans to choose what the best games for each category. DDLC itself was nominated for Best PC Game, Best Adventure Game, Best Story and Most Innovative. Where DDLC finally won the most votes not just one, but all categories are nominated.
The creator Dan Salvato also expressed his joy and thanks to all his fans through his twitter.

However, it turns out DDLC victory based on the most votes is still not welcomed by some fans. Where there is still a skeptic of this DDLC victory that could even won the category Best Adventure and Most Innovative is considered feels ill-fitting considering there are many other games that are more worthy of it. However, that's the result of the open vote. What do you think the Doki-Doki Literature Club deserves to win People's Choice for these categories?
